It is not easy, is it? I have been trying to use short videos on Twitter and TikTok to promote Stinky Karma, a fictional biography: https://mobile.twitter.com/Clipp... which would then (ideally) feed to one source for follow-up: https://linktr.ee/jamesporteous As you might expect, it is a far cry from a ‘campaign.’ James

Define your goals: Before you start using Twitter for marketing, you should define your goals. This will help you to create a clear strategy for your Twitter marketing campaign. Are you looking to build brand awareness, drive website traffic, generate leads, or something else? Know your audience: To create effective tweets, you need to understand your audience. Who are they, what are their interests, and what motivates them? Use this information to create content that resonates with your target audience. Use hashtags: Hashtags can help your tweets to be discovered by users who are interested in your topic. Use relevant hashtags in your tweets to increase your reach and engagement. Be consistent: Consistency is key when it comes to Twitter marketing. Tweet regularly, but don't overdo it. You don't want to overwhelm your followers with too many tweets. Engage with your audience: Twitter is a social network, so it's important to engage with your followers. Respond to tweets, retweet interesting content, and ask questions to encourage conversations. Use visuals: Visual content, such as images and videos, can help your tweets to stand out and increase engagement. Use high-quality visuals that are relevant to your content. Monitor your results: Keep track of your Twitter metrics, such as follower growth, engagement, and website traffic. Use this information to refine your Twitter marketing strategy and make data-driven decisions. By following these tips, you can create a successful Twitter marketing campaign that helps you to reach and engage with your target audience.

Dive into discussions, of course, it's more crowded than it used to be, but there are still ways to grow

I usually just talk about the stuff I am building, changes I am making and why I am making them, and then what results I am getting. Drives decent traffic.

My biggest tip is to learn how your audience talks and then interact with them the same way. By this I mean take some time to study how they use Twitter. What topics do they usually talk about? Do they like spontaneous hot takes? Do they write a lot of insightful threads or prefer something short and simple? Once you figure these out, it will be easier to post your own tweets as well as react to theirs.
